Momentum Coffee Juneteenth Recap

Governor JB Pritzker attended Momentum Coffee's Annual Juneteenth Vendor Pop Up held June 20, 2022 at the South Loop 2119 S S State location. Everyone was invited to come out and Shop, Support and Celebrate Juneteenth with Momentum Coffee.
The event was held in recognition of the emancipation of slaves in the United States, and featured local vendors and small businesses. Momentum Coffee uses Juneteenth all know as Freedom Day to support economic freedom and #economicempowerment. Governor Pritzker praised Momentum Coffee for their work in the community, and thanked them for their contributions to Juneteenth celebrations.
Governor Pritzker spent time speaking with all the vendors , and even sampled some of the coffee. He was impressed with the variety of vendors and the quality of their products. He encouraged everyone to continue supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs. He also encouraged other businesses to follow their lead and support local vendors and small businesses.
Juneteenth is an important day in our nation's history, and it is fitting that we celebrate it with a vendor pop up featuring local businesses. Governor Pritzker's attendance at the event shows his commitment to supporting small businesses and celebrating our shared history.
It was a great day complete with vendors selling their items and people getting to meet new businesses. Momentum Coffee looks for ways to support and showcase other small /black-owned businesses and are always trying to create equitable opportunities.
