Momentum Coffee and coworking is located at 2119 S. State Street in the south loop / near southside of Chicago. Opening a coffee shop up during the pandemic Momentum is happy to be part of a thriving community. We strive to provide the neighborhood with the best coffee and the best service. So far we have done a pretty good job of both according to our coffee community. Now that the City (and the world) is opening up we are starting to see more visitors from Chicago coming to the space. In close proximity to the Momentum Coffee is within walking distance of the Wintrust Arena, McCormick Place, Hyatt Regency McCormick, Hampton Inn McCormick Plan and CTA Cermak-McCormick Line Stop to name a few.
The Wintrust Arena McCormick Square, previously referred to as DePaul Arena or McCormick Place Events Center, is a 10,387-seat sports venue in Chicago's Near South Side community area that opened in 2017.
The Wintrust Arena is a multi-purpose venue for concerts, sporting events, general session hall for business meetings and conventions as well other major special events. With 10,000 seats and 22 state of the art suites, the Wintrust Arena can accommodate a myriad of events. Featuring a first-class NCAA basketball court that is the new home court for DePaul University Men’s and Women’s basketball teams. The Arena also serves as the home for the WNBA Basketball team the Chicago Sky.
McCormick Place is the largest and most flexible use convention center in North America. Located on Chicago’s lakefront, just minutes from downtown and facing one of the most iconic skylines in the world. McCormick Place is comprised of four buildings, the North, South, East and West Buildings. Each Building has multiple points of entry, depending on your choice of transportation or primary location of your event. Visit the event calendar to find your event’s building location. The Chicago Auto Show , the nation’s largest auto show, will be in July this year complete with an outdoor fest.
Hampton Inn Chicago McCormick Place We are connected to McCormick Place and located across from Wintrust Arena. The Art Institute of Chicago, Millennium Park, and the Field Museum are under 10 minutes’ drive from our door. Within walking distance, Soldier Field and Michigan Avenue are under a mile away. Our hotel has a fitness center and indoor pool. WiFi and daily hot breakfast are on us.

The CTA Cermak-McCormick Place Green Line Station (Chicago, IL) station is located at Cermak Road and State Street, 2.5 blocks (0.15 mile) west of the Wintrust Arena at Cermak Road and Indiana Ave.

Both are laser focused on economic empowerment of under-resourced communities.
